My Quest

Is it loyalty or stupidity 

I have devoted all these year to you

In our small world of two

you assume 

you are the king

And I am subservient to you  

But I have slowly awakened

To realize I am but a victim 

of age-old traditions 

Though I still stand loyally by you 

I ask for the equal return

Of your faithfulness

And forsake your overbearing attitude
